For first-generationkubi users
The first-generation kubi (kubi Classic / kubi Plus) is a tablet-stand robot developed by Xandex (formerly Revolve Robotics) in the US. iPresence sold it in Japan from 2015. It is no longer sold. This page lists the apps you can use with the first-generation kubi today and where to get support.
Which kubi do you have?
You can tell them apart by the shape of the power cable port.
Apps for the first-generation kubi
To control the first-generation kubi remotely, use Robot-Stand Connect, Telepotalk or AvatarLink.
Robot-Stand Connect
A free iPresence app for turning the head remotely. It carries over the remote control features of kubi Connect. Use it together with a call app such as Zoom or Google Meet.
- Device on kubi: install Robot-Stand Connect on an iPad (iPadOS 13.0 or later)
- Control: the browser version, opened in Chrome on a computer or smartphone
Telepotalk
Head control and video calls in one app, designed for use at school, in hospital or at home. A separate contract is required.

An app for companies and organizations that brings robots into Zoom meetings. A separate contract is required.

- Avatar Robot for ZoomNot supported
- It works with the first-generation kubi, but iPresence does not support it (no bug fixes, no updates for new iPadOS or Zoom versions). It may stop working after future iPadOS or Zoom updates. If you are starting out or want to keep using kubi long term, we recommend Robot-Stand Connect or AvatarLink.
